Installation

The solar industry is still not regulated by the Ontario government at this time.  You can call it the wild west of solar.  PV systems should be installed by a licensed contractor from a regulated trade.  This means that the contractor has an electrical contractor’s license. Code requirements for Solar PV systems are part of the “Ontario Electrical Code”.  The Electrical Contracting Registration Agency (ECRA) regulates the electrical trade.  This insures that companies like our subsidiary Certified Electric have all the required licences, insurances and are in good standing to conduct business in Ontario.  You can verify our compliance at the following link.  Our license number is #70000582.
