Commercial & Farm Rooftop systems typically operate in the 100 kW to 500 kW range, limited more by available space than other factors. Our custom designed rooftop systems, up to 500 kW, can also be fully leased to minimise the impact on your working capital. The electricity produced, flows into the grid as far as the Ontario Power Authority is concerned. In reality, the connection between the new meter measuring your electrical production and the meter measuring your consumption for your building is a short one. The “green” power produced by the solar panels is typically consumed locally, with any surplus feeding additional nearby customers on the grid. You however, get paid for every kilowatt hour of electricity produced BEFORE any power is consumed.
Lease Your Rooftop: if you have greater than 30,000 square feet of usable rooftop space, we can also lease your rooftop and install our solar systems. You gain a source of annual income for the use of your rooftop over 20 years and we guarantee you certain reduced operating costs – reduced air conditioning.
